On Wednesday, November 14, 2018, staff from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation’s (DEEOIC) National Office will host an outreach event in Lynchburg, Virginia. Beginning at 9:00 a.m., a DEEOIC National Office representative will discuss medical benefits, as well as the mission of the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA). The presentation will include specific information concerning medical authorizations, bill processing, and home health care services to those that need them.
After the presentation has concluded, DEEOIC’s National Office and Oak Ridge Resource Center staff will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. to assist DEEOIC claimants with the filing of new conditions under the EEOICPA and to provide claimants with status updates on their existing EEOICPA claims.
